Indivdual Animations

A variety of hand-drawn 2D animations, 2D puppet Animations, and hand-drawn 2D effects animation. These animated shots were created as individual projects without a team, with the majority of the aspects being created by me or provided to me. I created backgrounds in Procreate and Photoshop, then animated them in Toon Boom Harmony or Procreate Dreams and did post-production work in After Effects.

2D Puppet Animation

Dino's Hell

A short animation about an unfortunate dinosaur that is frightened, but still lured in by a devious devil. Animated in Toon Boom Harmony, I created all motion aspects. I illustrated all of the backgrounds using both Procreate and Photoshop. Compositing of environmental lighting, cast shadows, and audio mixing were done in After Effects. Audio from DreamWorks' Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, and Puppets provided by SCAD's free puppet library.

Act Normal

A pair on a date sit down for dinner together. The man sees someone he doesn't want to see from across the room and panics. Exacerbating his date, who's already completely over his shenanigans. For this scene, the backgrounds were illustrated, and the characters were animated in Toon Boom Harmony.

Experimental 2D Animation

Passion Witches

This is an animation project with the theme of "passion" in combination with the character archetype of a witch. The project experiments with motion, color, textures, and patterns. Using both hand-drawn and 2d puppet animation in Procreate Dreams. The characters and backgrounds were all original creations for this project designed in Procreate.

Look Out!

A worker waiting for a bus scrolls on her phone until she gets an uncanny feeling that something bad is coming her way. She looks up to see a pot hurling towards her from the windows above and dodges just in time. Both the background and animation were created in Toon Boom Harmony.
